As the Baby Boomer generation approaches retirement age, the demand for in-home care has been on the rise. According to a report by the Population Reference Bureau, by 2030, the number of individuals aged 65 and older in the U.S. is expected to reach 72 million, which is twice the number recorded in 2000. Furthermore, a majority of these seniors are increasingly expecting to age in place, meaning that they would prefer staying in their own homes rather than moving into nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
